... that the book series 2920 includes a leap day? The second book includes the date "29 Sun's Dawn", which is the equivalent to the real world leap day of 29 February, and the year 2920 would be leap year on the Julian and Gregorian Calendars. The concept of a leap day has seemingly not appeared in the series beyond this one instance.
